I'm one of the developers of Warsurge. I like miniature war gaming and video games when I have the time free for it!
Greetings! Ready for some profiles?
In this post we’ve got a little sample video of Warsurge’s profile creator software in action.
That’s pretty much it. It’s a demo of three profiles with giving a little bit of info. I made a ‘Galaxy Marine’, a ‘Battle Tank’ and a ‘Knight’ (that was intended to ride on horseback).
If you are having trouble viewing the video, you can view it on YouTube by clicking here.
Or by using the URL here: https://youtu.be/AbmrTcjTNGk
So you might be wondering what some of those stats mean. In a nutshell, we have:
Move: How far a model moves in inches (“) in the Movement or Command Phase.
Dash: How far a model can ‘Dash’ or charge in inches (“) in the Dash or Command Phase.
Ranged Skill: D6 chance for a ranged weapon’s shot to hit an enemy.
Melee Skill: D6 chance for a melee weapon’s attack to hit an enemy.
Speed: How fast the model can attack in a Melee.
Strength: How strong a model is in a Melee.
Defence: How tough or resilient a model is against damage. This compares to Strength.
HP: Short for Hit Points, it’s how much damage a model can take before it is a casualty.
Armour and AEGIS are chances to avoid damage, though AEGIS is superior.
I’d like to do more videos in the future with more specific characters, but we’ll see!
