July 2025 News

Welcome to the July 2025 news update for WARSURGE.

The Intermediate Battle Report is now up on YouTube. It’s a 500pts Tactical Strike game and goes for a bit over an hour. It took a while to make but it’s finally here! Hope you enjoy it:

Special thanks to our affiliates: Print Minis, Gary Hunt Miniatures, Colossal Miniatures, Brutal Cities, Orakio's Studio, Pwork Wargames and War World Gaming for allowing us to use their miniatures and terrain.

We’ll be at Victorius, a convention which is on the 16th of August, at Box Hill Town Hall (in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia). It is a Historical, Fantasy & Sci-Fi Tabletop Games Show where you’ll find us and other tabletop wargames. If you’re in the neighbourhood, feel free to drop in and have a demo game with us!

New STLs are downloadable on the WARSURGE website. We’ve added Wall Templates as well as updated the Markers for Perks, Actions and Activation Markers. You can get them here:

Now that the Battle Report is done, we’ll be focusing our attention on other areas for WARSURGE. We’re looking at:

- App Update v1.9

- Recruit-a-Friend

- New Mods*

- Historical Compendium

- New Narratives**

*New Mods include an alternative Attack Sequence to suit groups who enjoy using Aim and Accuracy Perks.

**We also have long-term plans for narrative campaigns we can turn into a digital/physical book (even with miniatures or STL files). We’ll be doing the Historical Compendium first though.

This month’s Bounty is Artwo Beef-Two. Once a service robot, it was destroyed unnecessarily by a careless hunter. Now rebuilt, it has been seeking its vengeance, trapping and killing bounty hunters until it finally slays the one that first harmed it.

Models in the photo are from Print Minis, Gary Hunt Miniatures and Colossal Miniatures. Building is by Brutal Cities and the Gaming Mat is by Pwork Wargames.

Any further news on development of a pc version of the app? I literally only have a flip phone for emergencies, and have been waiting for quite a while for the pc version. It's a little disconcerting that you've done so many other things first, quite frankly.
