Welcome to the October 2025 news update for WARSURGE.

At last, we have some good news regarding the v1.9 app update. We were having issues with Apple Store but we have overcome them. We are now polishing off a few things then it will go live on both Google Play and Apple. Being a transition toward v2 of the app, we do expect a few minor issues to appear which we would like feedback about. Thank you for your continued patience. We highly recommend doing a backup of your data (in Settings, Auto or Manual Backup tabs) leading up to the update, which we will announce on our social media sometime in the next week.

Next month at the end of November, we will be at MEGA in Melbourne (Australia), an event for tabletop gaming and modelling enthusiasts. Check out our demo game and shop stall at the Kensington Town Hall on the 29th of November. You may just be able to participate in a battle similar to this month’s photo.

For the last couple months we have mentioned a WARSURGE Ambassador system, where people can sign up and be rewarded for posting on social media (specifically Reddit at this time). Once the WARSURGE v1.9 app update is live and settled, we plan to launch this program shortly after. To briefly recap, the goal of the Ambassador system is to encourage players to share their Warsurge battles and hobby content on Reddit. The Ambassador Reward shop will have a variety of goods you can purchase such as Lifetime App vouchers, Digital Rulebooks, official STLs and some items belonging to affiliates, along with exclusive rewards (and we’re also looking at shop e-vouchers!). If you want to start getting ready for being a Warsurge Ambassador, then make a Reddit account and start building up ‘karma’ so you can post in various subreddits: https://www.reddit.com/

After the Ambassador Program is launched, we are going to launch a scoreboard for bounties, where the goal is to complete them with less points than what is recommended in the bounty itself. More details will come later.

This month’s Bounty is the Pumpkin Party. Heroes have been driven mad by cursed pumpkins, donning the gourds as helmets and accusing bystanders of being dragons, tyrants and brigands. Now, they kill any that cross their path, believing them as evil needing to be vanquished.
